- Current TNA Wrestling announcer Mike Tenay is credited as the man who came up with the idea for Bill Goldberg’s infamous WCW win streak.

- Ken Shamrock was promised an IWGP title reign prior to signing with WWF.

- Jake The Snake Roberts never won a belt in his entire WWF career.

- Ric Flair is the only man to ever hold the WWE Championship, WCW World Heavyweight Championship, and NWA World Heavyweight Championship.

- WCW paid Ric Flair $75,000 to give back the WCW title after he had departed to the WWE in 1991.

- Cactus Jack and Terry Funk were originally scheduled to face the New Age Outlaws in a “Barbed Wire Match” at WrestleMania XIV, but PPV executives objected them to do so, hence the Dumpster Match.

- Bret Hart, Chris Benoit and King Booker are the only triple crown champions in WCW and WWE.

- Three Superstars have won back-to-back Rumbles: Hulk Hogan (1990 & 1991), Shawn Michaels (1995 & 1996) and “Stone Cold” Steve Austin (1997 & 1998).

- The 2002 Royal Rumble was the longest ever. It lasted 1 hour, 9 minutes, 23 seconds.

- Jesse Ventura retired in 1984 because of bloodclots in his lungs.

- The title has changed most times in the state of New York – 16. It has changed in the city the most is New York, New York 12 times.

- The Big Red Monster Kane has the most consecutive appearances in the Rumble with 11 between 1999 and 2009.

- The Dudley Boyz were the first WWE Tag Team to hold both the WWE and World Tag Team Titles. They are also the only tag team to win both WWE and TNA Tag team gold.

- Macho Man Randy Savage’s two WWF and four WCW World Heavyweight Championship reigns were all ended with Savage losing the title to either Hulk Hogan or Ric Flair.

- Hulk Hogan has a record, eight main-event appearances. His five main events in a row, WrestleMania V to WrestleMania IX, are also a record.

- Survivor Series 1992, ‘98, and 2002 did not hold any traditional Survivor Series Elimination Matches on its’ card.

- Shawn Michaels is headed towards a near quarter-century run in WWE now, counting time off television and hiatuses with injuries. Michaels made his debut in the company back in 1987.
