Former WWE Head Of Security, Jimmy Noonan, returned to the airwaves of “Your Home Of Wrestling Radio” for a new installment of the critically-acclaimed “Noonan Speaks,” and was welcomed back to the program by The Big Mosh, Blade, & “The Chairman Of The Board” Todd Vincent. For weeks, fans & critics alike around the world have been discussing the various possibilities for what will take place at WrestleMania XXVI, especially for the feud between WWE Chairman, Vince McMahon & Bret “The Hitman” Hart. After the events from the past several days, it seems quite likely we will be seeing John Cena vs. “The Animal” Batista in a one-on-one collision, with McMahon & Hart in their respective corners. Based on his past experiences, one thing Jimmy knows a great deal about is the build-up to WrestleMania, and with his personal history knowing both superstars (Cena & Batista), Noonan was asked about the current RAW storyline leading into “The Showcase Of The Immortals” & what would seem better for WrestleMania at “the tale of the tape:” Bret vs. Vince in a Street Fight (the early-rumored ‘Mania match) or Cena vs. Batista.

“I’ve been talking about all along how they are going to rewrite history. It’s turns out for the first time on Monday Night Mayhem, Jimmy Noonan is wrong. When Bret got into the Hall Of Fame, I was assigned to him for the few days he was there, and he didn’t talk much, and people forget that Bret is a really big dude. I kinda’ got the feeling that something was wrong with him when I talked to him at WrestleMania when I was handling him. I didn’t get it at the time, and now I get it, and I’m getting from insiders at the WWE, and if you read between the lines, you get what’s about to happen. I think Bret is a little more fragile than we thought he was, and it turns out Blade (of Monday Night Mayhem) was right, he is not in good health. A lot of post-stroke people suffer from emotional imbalances & other lasting effects common to post-stroke survivors. It turns out that Bret may not be able to do just about anything…never mind a Street Fight. So what are we stuck with We are stuck with Vince in Batista’s corner vs. John Cena, and in his corner, Bret Hart. This match has been a long time coming, and I think they have dropped the ball in three or four WrestleMania’s on this match. I think if Brock wasn’t gonna’ be around, I thought this was going to be the biggest match in years in the WWE. I think it’s a little sad in a way for it to end this way for Bret. He signed a four-month contract, and it’s up right after WrestleMania, and I would imagine he’ll want to get out, but I really don’t know beyond that.”

With all the talk of this happening, will the fans feel short changed with Bret not wrestling & the build-up somewhat stopping now, especially after Bret’s “injury” this past Monday night? “They did the impossible, they brought Bret “The Hitman” Hart back, and it’s great for wrestling. Let’s face it…everyone agrees that during the late ’90’s & into 2000, he was one of the most popular guys in wrestling history, and most ex-wrestlers would say he was the best guys to fight; so it was a win-win situation. Will the fans feel short changed? I think yes, because I think we are finally starting to find out why Bret has been ignoring this for a while, because he wasn’t capable, and he’s still not capable. That’s what I’m getting if you read between the lines.”

Hello everybody, and welcome to another edition of The Foley Files. I think we have to consider this to be among the biggest weeks ever in TNA history, with the announcement of the big move to Monday nights, beginning March 8th. I applaud this bold move, and think it could turn out to be the best thing that could happen for everyone involved – TNA, WWE, me, wrestlers from both groups, Dixie, Vince, and especially all the fans. I know the move will divide some of the fans, but I really think it will bring new ones to the table, and get some former wrestling fans, who had wandered away for a while to remember what they loved about wrestling.

I can now say that I have completed the writing for “Countdown to Lockdown”, after spending twenty hours or so on the book’s Afterword, where I take a look back and try to figure out what it all meant. I wanted the book to have a perfect finish, and therefore spent a great deal of time editing and rewriting, wanting to make sure I got it just right. I think i did, thanks in great part to my friend Jill Thompson, the talented young lady who illustrated two of my children’s books, and really knows her wrestling and writing, in addition to being the creator of “The Scary Godmother” series of children’s books, which have been turned into perennial Halloween favorites on the cartoon channel. Sometimes, the toughest thing a writer can di is accept that more is not always better, but I have no doubt that trimming a few hundreds words, and tweaking (one of my favorite words) the rest of the chapter has left me with a conclusion that I am really proud of. I know there are people out there who really feel like one, two, or three memoirs were enough for them. If they feel that way, than it’s probably true…for them. But for people who enjoyed the last book, or who are open to the idea that this crazy wrestling business can provide inspiration for countless stories – I do believe you will enjoy this one. Wow, that was a horribly constructed sentence! Don’t worry, the book is much better written than that.

The following is an excerpt from an interview with Kofi Kingston from SkySports.com:

Kofi, welcome back to skysports.com. What should your UK fans expect from The Elimination Chamber?
Kofi Kingston: Elimination Chamber is one of the more unique WWE pay per views. It’s one of the most exciting but also the most brutal in WWE history. There is over 10 tonnes of steel but it’s not like a cage. Two Superstars start out with the other four locked in a pod. The pods will open at random until all six are in action. The last man standing wins. There are six guys desperate to become the WWE Champion. Actually that’s not true. Five of us are desperate to become Champion and Sheamus is desperate to hold on to his title.

What history do you have when it comes to this type of event?
Kofi: This time last year my title hopes were shattered by Edge. It was supposed to be my first title shot but he ran in and attacked me. Because of that, while most Superstars would be nervous ahead of this kind of match, I’ve been looking forward to it for about a year. I’m eager.

Let’s talk about your opponents. We’ll go through them one by one and I’ll ask you to sum them up. But we’re very busy here at skysports.com so you’re only allowed two sentences about each one. Do we have a deal?
Kofi: Sure. Let’s go.

We’ll start with the Champion, Sheamus.
Kofi: A young hungry Irishman who has taken the WWE universe by storm. Man, he became WWE Champion in record time.

Next up is an old friend of skysports.com and a big Tottenham fan John Cena
Kofi: He is the true hero – some may call him the Superman of WWE. He lost his title to Sheamus and is keen to get it back

I spent some time with Triple H in Houston at WrestleMania25. His arms were bigger than my legs. You must be scared of him. Even just a bit?
Kofi: Man he’s a freak of nature. People forget how long he’s been around – he worked his way to the top and has stayed at the top of the game…he is The Game

Your evening doesn’t get any easier. Next up is Randy Orton.
Kofi: Everybody knows he’s always up to no good and they call him the snake because he slithers around and knows how to win matches in a dastardly fashion. He’s one who’s looking to get the title and he has an almost psychotic obsession with it.

And finally Ted DiBiase. He’ll be paying us a visit next month. Will he have the WWE Championship belt with him?
Kofi: Let’s hope not – let’s hope I’ve got it.
